2025 / 2026 SEASON

2025/2026 includes performances at Carnegie Hall, Stanford and Harvard Universities, BalletX, and festivals across Europe, a new EP with Lorelei Ensemble, and the introduction of Public Ceremony, a new digital project by Scott Ordway.


Everything Is Alive is a short, virtuosic work for violin and piano written for Anyango Yarbo-Davenport and performed at Teatro Mayor in Bogotá, Colombia. August 2025

North Woods, a new EP with Lorelei Ensemble, releases October 17 on New Focus Productions. A December performance tour follows, with stops in Boston, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington DC—including my debut with the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society. Premiering at Carnegie Hall in November, The Memory of Snow is a new concerto for violin and string orchestra, commissioned by Ruda Lee and the Hong Kong-based Anima Ensemble. The work is both a personal reflection on my deep connection to mountain landscapes in California and an elegy for our increasingly threatened winters. November 22, 2025

Rights, my choral setting of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, is presented by the Boston Children’s Chorus at Symphony Hall. January 2026

Squares is a new ballet for choreographer Matthew Neenan and BalletX, Philadelphia’s premiere contemporary dance company. The work is scored for amplified vocal ensemble and live synthesizers, performed live onstage as part of the production. March 18–22, 2026 (with Public Ceremony)

Evening Land is a large-scale song cycle setting texts by California authors, commissioned by Stanford University’s Department of Music and further supported by a visiting fellowship from the Bill Lane Center for the American West. April 2026

Commissioned by Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University, In Common is a new choral work based on texts by Langston Hughes, Gabriela Mistral, Alexander von Humboldt, and Lucretius, performed by the Harvard Collegium Musicum. May 2026

A staged outdoor work for cello, vocal ensemble, and analogue synthesizers, The Architecture of Trees was commissioned by cellist Maya Fridman and will be presented by Dutch interdisciplinary arts group Silbersee at festivals across Europe. May 2026 (with Public Ceremony)
